ShaperLab Pro — Beta Tester Agreement

Thanks for testing ShaperLab Pro. This short agreement is between you and Sculpted Chronicles, Lda (NIPC 519412443, São Vicente, Madeira, Portugal). It applies together with the Licence Agreement and the Privacy Policy. If they conflict, this agreement wins for the beta.

  1. Free. The beta costs nothing. You pay nothing now and owe nothing later.
  2. Personal. Your beta build and licence key are for you alone.
  3. Confidential. Please do not share the builds, licence keys, screenshots of unreleased features or anything we tell you about plans that are not public, until we make them public.
    • You may show the boards you design, and talk about them, freely.
    • You may tell people that you are testing ShaperLab Pro.
  4. Your work is yours. You own the boards and files you make, including boards you sell.
    • Keep your own back-ups. A beta can have bugs.
  5. As is. The beta is unfinished. It is given "as is": it may contain errors, lose data or change at any time, and features may come and go.
    • Always check G-code in the simulation, and with an air cut, before you cut.
    • Treat volumes and Shaper Advisor suggestions as indicative.
    • This does not limit liability that the law does not allow us to limit, such as for intent or gross negligence.
  6. Feedback. Ideas, bug reports and suggestions help us most.
    • You let us use them freely, without payment, to improve ShaperLab Pro.
    • You keep the right to use your own ideas.
    • We never take rights in your designs.
  7. Ending. The beta ends when we say so, or when your key expires. You can stop at any time.
    • When it ends, please delete the beta builds and keys.
    • Your files stay yours.
    • Points 3 and 6 continue after the beta.
  8. Law. Portuguese law applies. The Licence Agreement explains how disputes are handled.
  9. Language. The English text governs. If the Spanish or Portuguese versions differ, English prevails, unless the law of your country gives you the right to rely on your language.
